Tell Me Everything

Maybe It's Time Again

Don't be the one

Don't be the one who walked away like this

Don't be the one who just got up and quit

Don't run away again my son

You were the one

You were the one who wanted all of this

But you wore squares

when only circles were in

Don't let a chance roll by once more

Come on,

Hey Baby

Come on hate me

Do it the best you can

If I can say lately

That I don't hate me

Then maybe it's time again

Maybe it's time again

Don't be so sure

Don't be so sure that it's the end for us

Don't be so sure that it won't still end up

Just like the way we were before

I was the one

I was the one who first gave up on u

I was the one who walked away from a time

When we were rulers of the now and then

Come on,

Hey Baby

Come on hate me

Do it the best you can

But I can say lately

That I don't hate me

So maybe it's time again

Maybe it's time again

She Taught Dancing

Irish,

I know you're hurting

And I wish I could surround you in comfort

But I'll say this;

I remember when you called me

And your message

I like the message, we went drinking

Met your mother

In her kitchen, she taught dancing

And we danced on

From the evening till the morning

Cameron,

I know you're out there

And I know that,

I know we're still fighting

But I can say;

I remember when I called you

And your answers

All your answers about drinking

And you family

I just sat there and I listened to your stories

Then you sat back and you listened

To mine too

From sunrise to sunset

And we've not found a reason yet

And though all signs were showing

There was no way of knowing,

yet

Engle,

Upwards and downwards

I know that,

I know you're still going

And I still say that it's water when it's juice

And i remember, we shared fish suppers on your birthday

We met the locals they adored him

We adored them

We played music and we stayed up

From the evening,

From the evening 'till the morning

The we played on form the morning until the evening.

In Case You're Listening

Feel vibration of era

A day a decade to savour

Stemmed from struggle

A bleakness

Never stated

But always felt

In the Kingdom of Russian Thistle

and burned out wives in a hard land

For every tired old farm

That failed and tried

And failed again

Ringlets grew in the brisk sun

And wise men frown in corners

A perfect circle of laughter

As our ears hearken back

For the dalliance of one-eyed imbiciles

Hope in the burnt men

We blundered… unfocused

We buried an unmounrned moment

Hang on Darling

I’ll be in the garden

With nothing on but the roses

And my love—full volume

In case you’re listening

Now that we are one

These so many years

And you gone thirteen days

Three miles to the north

My sleeplessness

Hang on Darling

I’ll be in the garden

With nothing on but the roses

And my love—full volume

In case you’re listening

But here the city blooms

These so many years

And you gone thirteen days

Three miles to the north

Hang on Darling

I’ll be in the garden

With nothing on but the roses

And my love—full volume

In case you’re listening

YéYé

Can you see me in the streets of Paris, tonight?

Can you hear me trying to remember French?

Are you proud of me?

Can you see that I’m not a bastard.

But it still stings

It stings and it hurts

And it weighs

more than it’s worth

All I want

Is to shout out (loud)

Hey ye ye, hey yé yé yé

Shoutin’ out

Hey yé yé yé yé yé yé

Did you hear she’s named him after you?

Can you see him walking in the snow (New Mills)?

Did you see me on your birthday,

I was there

Were you proud of me

Could you see that I’d been crying?

Cuz it stings

t stings and it hurts

And it weighs

more than it’s worth

All I want

Is to shout out (loud)

Hey ye ye, hey yé yé yé

Shoutin’ out

Hey yé yé yé yé yé yé

Just Call My Name and I'll Never Die

Just call my name and I’ll never Die

Just one refrain, to keep me alive

But you’re singing,

la, la, la lager,

la, la, la Vindaloo, “hey!”

And I’m singing,

la, la, long winter

la, la, la Maple Leafs, “Hey!”

Do you ever stop just to think,

this is all a lie?

Do you ever stop just to think,

We’re not meant to die

Or are you just too busy singing out

la, la, la, lager

la, la, la Vindaloo,

“Hey!”

And my country’s singing,

la, la, long winter,

la, la, la Malpe Leafs,

 “Hey!”

Your country should be singing,

La, la, love neighbours,

la, la, we shall remain.

Their country should be singin’

Guns, guns, no more guns,

Guns, guns, no more guns today. (love love)

My country should be singing,

Clean, clean, clean water,

clean, clean, reconcile,

today

Hey You

Hey You

What ya doin’ now?

Hey Kid

What ya doin’ know?

You woke up

But what ya doin’ now?

You went out

But what ya doin now?

Hey little man

What ya doin’ now?

Hey there kid

What ya doin’ now?

You got up

But what ya doin’ now?

You went out

But what ya doing now?

Lead me and I’ll follow you

And I’ll fight for you
if you fight for you

Believe in me and I’ll believe in you

And I’ll fight for you

If you fight for you

Hey Blue

What ya doin’ now?

Hey there Old Kid

What ya doin’ know?

You woke up

But what ya doin’ now?

You went out

But what ya doin now?

Lead me and I’ll follow you

And I’ll fight for you
if you fight for you

Believe in me and I’ll believe in you

And I’ll fight for you

If you fight for you

It's a Dream

You could stay or you could go

You don’t have to say right now

I don’t mind because

I never saw myself saw myself somewhere

Where sense belonged

If I stay or if I leave

It won’t have to be for long

I don’t care because

I never wanted just to be like anyone

Who lingers on repeat

If your lovelife taught you nothing

If all the late nights lead to nothing

It’s a wound and we are slowly bleeding out

It’s a dream and we are slowly waking up

…you see I never thought I’d be someone who just belonged

You could stay or if you don’t

It won’t have to be for long

I don’t mind because

I never thought I’d land somewhere

Where bored belonged

Right there by my side

If the drug use taught you nothing

If all the drinking taught you nothing (at all)

If it could it all still lead to something

It’s a wound and we are slowly bleeding out

It’s a dream and we are slowly waking up

It’s a film and we are slowly fading out

It’s a dream and we are slowly waking up

Somewhere

So, I’ll rise with the sun

And I’ll dive into the sea

I will stand screaming to everyone, everywhere

Find me somewhere to belong

Find me somewhere to belong (x3)

So, I’ll ride out again

And I’ll find an empty room

Where my screams echo from every wall, to nobody

Find me somewhere to belong

And I’ll sing you to sleep tonight

I will sing for you tonight

I’ll sing you to sleep tonight

I will sing for you tonight

So, I’ll rise with the sun

And I’ll dive into the sea again

I will stand screaming to everyone, everywhere

Find me somewhere to belong

We'll Be Young Tonight

Forty years or something more

Out of love or I’m not sure

In a room with imposing views

We’ll be blind tonight

If the one thing you wanted was to be young

Then we’ll be young tonight

And if the only thing you’re seeking is forgiveness

Then we’ll forgive this tonight

Pour it out like sunshine

From the tumbler to my mind

On a bed made from mistakes

We’ll awake tonight

If the last thing you wanted was to be old

Then we’ll be young tonight

And if the only thing you want to be is remembered

Then let’s remember tonight

I don’t mean to sound cold

But it’s time for you to settle down

I don’t mean to sound cruel

But it’s time for me to go

To carry on

If the one thing you wanted was to be young

Then we’ll young tonight

If the only thing you’re seeking is forgiveness

Then let’s forgive this tonight

Here Comes The Rain

December came and brought back my legs again

A man arrived to hand me my feet again

From Montreal, they came

To bring me to my knees again

Here comes the rain

The trucks race by, something’s on fire again

The water mains better not freeze today

They won’t in the pouring rain

The houses will all be saved

Here comes the rain

All by myself with just a cup of tea

I learned to brew up over a cold blue sea

For an hour it will be just you and me

Learning to love again

Learning to love the rain

Here comes the rain
